Good question... My answer is because they make more money off of it being illegal. They say they cant tax it.. Well they can tax the hell out of cigarettes.
People would grow it themselves and they wouldnt be able to make money off of it.

It also helps people with AIDS, people with cataracts, cancer, glaucoma, and dementia.. Many medical uses , you would think they would do something about it.

Diseases and other harmful substances make the world go round...sounds crazy but think about it. It's the harmful things that are legal because they help keep the cycle going.

Alot of doctors would be out of practice if everybody was healthy. The government doesn't want us to make marijuana legal because THEY know that it's something that's pure and helpful in curing diseases such as cancer....so instead they give us cigarettes. They figure cigarettes will give us that same oral fixation as marijuana (which it doesn't) but at the same time, bring us to a slow death (which they don't want us to believe it to be entirely true). Cigs won't necessarily kill you right away but they won't help cure anything either. It's all about politics and money....and it makes perfect sense.

I'm all for the "real" thing...

good question. its true that marijuana can help people recover from cancer because it helps them not throw up. some hospitals do use it though. although it can help people recover from cancer, i do think that it is good that marijuana is illegal outside of hospitals. people would abuse the substance and it would be a deadly combination with alcohol, which most adults drink everyday. if people had easy access to marijuana, many would die. The combination of alchohol and marijuana is deadly because since it helps you not throw up, if you drink too much alchohol, the toxins wont be able to come out of your body.

because the government is absolutely corrupt, and it would mess with a lot of power and money issues. it would kill many other industries (that should be killed) and the system would be ruined. this world is doomed. that's the way it is. ya'll should visit www.infowars.com to see first hand.
