I want to work at home but there are so many scams out there that it seems impossible to find the good ones. I don't have any money to pay upfront. Love to hear some ideas. Thanks!

Almost any business that is normally done out of a small office can be done from home, but do you have the skills? Accounting, bookkeeping, consulting, graphic design, interior design, investment management, law, software development, software implementation, technical writing, and Web design are just a few businesses I've seen done out of the proprietor's home. But do you have skills for any of it?

Most work at home businesses will have a fee. If you are looking for a work at home job, then you shouldn't pay a fee but even with that being said there are a couple of companies that charge for background checks before hiring a person.
If you think you would rather look for a work at home job instead of a business, please go to my profile, the link there will take you to a work at home jobs website. Most legitmate work at home businesses are going to require at least a membership fee.... I wrote a blog which can be found on my profile in the second paragraph... it is generic, no companies mentioned, no affiliate links... no 'sign up quick' stuff, just lessons I learned through the school of hard knocks. Hopefully this blog will help you shorten your learning curve.
Keep this in mind... some people who spam you with their biz opps are NOT making money, but spending countless hours trying and are told to say the same thing over and over and over again....

As far as I'm concerned there isn't anything else out there than can touch SBI so follow this link http://ownit.workathomewithsbi.com you'd be hard pressed to find anything negative about them... furthermore to credentialize this program it's ranked 753 out of over 56 million sites online.
