I'm seriously considering voting for a third party next year. I'm not voting republican, and probally not voting for a democrat depending on who gets the nomination. I also don't think its throwing my vote away, but rather voting to show both parties they don't represent me.

So anyone else feel the same? What third party are you thinking about voting for?

At this point I'll probably write in a cartoon character picked at random. I am extremely dismayed that neither party has presented a single viable candidate. No one in either of the main parties has realy taken a stand on anything. Not one candidate has given any definate answers to any of the important questions. No one seems to have any realistic plan to deal with any of the problems we face.

I have voted in every single election for the last 25 years. I feel it is not a citizen's right, but their responsibility. At very least, if you don't vote you have no right to complain about who got elected or how things are being run. Voting for a third party candidate usualy is ineffective (not always, Jesse Ventura became Gov of MN), but at least it's casting a ballot for someone you think would do some good. Voting for someone because you favor Republicans or Democrats without being clear on what the person will do is irresponsible at best.

I have voted Libertarian due to the fact the Libertarian Party first ran a presidential candidate. Some look to check out and make the factor that that is simply losing a vote, nevertheless I say that it's only the reverse. Voting established on precept is certainly not a loss. Voting for the man or woman who has the pleasant hazard of successful is certainly not a win if that man or woman will do what you feel to be “in opposition to” you pleasant pursuits. Gus Hall ran for President for a lot of his grownup lifestyles and certainly not had a hazard of successful and but a lot of what he represented grew to be legislation. Do you lose if through the years the fundamental events difference (a little bit at a time) to take delivery of standards of your 3rd celebration..

I'm still sifting through the candidates who I know are out there. Once they're narrowed down by the primaries, I'll have a better idea of who I stand by.

I'll most not likely do a 3rd party vote come next year.

I will not vote for a third party candidate. I am a conservative. I will vote for the candidate who represents my views, regardless of party.

No. By voting for a third party, you're only going to hurt the mainstream party that more closely matches your values and help the other party that disagrees with your values. No one ever helps their cause by losing elections.

Vote Ron Paul! He's only running Republican to get the nomination.

He's an anti-corporation, pro-America and the Constitution, Libertarian!

Show me a pro life, anti gay Democrat or a Republican that cares about the elderly and kids, and I will.
