Yes, but some people say eat as many as you want, and then some other will say....no more than 6.
My doc said no more than 6-8 a day.
You definately can have them ,but check with your doc as to how much he recommends.

I am in my 38th week and I call Tums 'my little buddies'. I started out with Pepto which I was told is a no no. Tums helped me for a few months but lately I have to scarf down more than usual... I recommend the peppermint flavored ones because peppermint is a natural stomach soother. I've also learned to stop drinking pop and not have milk or ice cream too late in the day to help with the heartburn problem. Good luck, I feel for ya!

My pregnancy books say its safe for when you have heartburn. Also rolaids is supposed to be safe.
Usually i would drink a glass a milk and see how that helps me first before I read for the rolaids. Are you eating alot of spicy foods? I am 28 wks, and my heartburn officially started about a month ago, and that's if I eat something or not.

Even the doctor will suggest tums for heartburn. Don't over do it though...well the label will tell you. That is also another way to get calcium.

Tums are fine but make sure you follow the directions and only take as many as directed in that certain time period. Rolaids are also good!

My doctor recommended Tums and they were fine. I took the "smoothies" kind. They are great for later in pregnancy and the heartburn hits but you don't have anything to drink after you take it.

Tums are fine. They even reccomend that you take some to boost your calcium intake! Also, try milk, or bread. Something to counter act the acid issue.

I always heard that Tums was okay to eat during a pregnancy but not Rolaids. I can't remember what they have in them, but doctors told me to not eat them.
