Pocket diapers- I have never had a single leak in these things and they come in so many adorable colors. Once I made the switch to cloth, all of my friends have switched over too. My son is so much more comfortable in them (he used to pull and tug on the disposables) and he would leak through his sheets every single night before we made the switch.

Plus, you can save a ton of money in the long run and even sell them when you are done with them.

I have a 31/2 yr old and a 2 yr old and I have always used Pampers Swadlers. They are the best. Huggies are good for Pull Ups but now you will need the Pampers ones. Hope this helps...

Pampers Swaddlers are best, and they are really soft, but I am perfectly happy with Target brand. They are just as absorbent.. and half the price. The only difference I could find was that the Pampers seem a bit softer.. but I change my baby so much and the Target brand does not bother him at all.. so why spend all that $ on something that goes in the garbage in about an hour and a half anyways?

For newborns, I splurged and got the nicest ones - Pampers Premium (they might have a new brand name now). I switched to the ordinary Pampers at 4 months. I went to LUVs and Huggies just before potty training since they are less comfortable and I wanted to encourage the potty more and more. LUVs are not bad at all. I had leak problems with Huggies. The pull-ups are ok.

pampers swaddlers are the way to go! they are extremely soft and minimize leaks. I've tried all the other brands including the store brands due to the price difference and they simply do not compare. don't waste your time or money on the others. Pampers Swaddlers are the absolute best for a new baby :)

Pampers Swaddlers for newborn :-) They are WAY WAY softer then huggies. When my baby was a newborn I tried out the huggies and since his poopy was runny it got out the diaper. Swaddlers have something about them that kept in the poop. My hospital gave alot to me.

When he was 2 months I switched to luvs because of the price. They keep everything in and are great but not so soft on my babies butt, it was like padded paper so I switched back to swaddlers.

I moved onto the pampers cruisers (they are like swaddlers but bigger) because swaddlers didn't have over size 3 (i think).

Now I am on huggies again because my mom bought me a box and they are ok (he is now 11 months.) a little poop squished through a few times though.

pampers swaddlers for newborn and size 1 then after that I Luvs. Luvs now have the same stretchy material that the more expensive diapers have and they're great at leak guard. Huggies are good but overpriced.

Cloth diapers is another option, its becoming more popular.

I like Huggies because my son always broke out when he wore pampers. They fit well and the stretch sides are great. I haven't had any leak problems, and my son goes all night( sometimes 12 hours!) without a diaper change.

I've heard great things about Swaddlers by Pampers. It lets the baby move around comfortably and the diaper moves with the baby so there is no leaking.

For me it depended on the age. In the beginning I liked the Pampers Swaddlers, I then switched to Huggies Supreme, and as my daughter got older I bought the Sam's brand or the Costco/Kirkland brand. I never liked Luvs. I also didn't care for the Babies R Us brand. It leaked too much.
