Doctors traditionally are more educated than the average joe, so they should be rewarded more money, makes sense in a sensible world, the doctor in France lived a good life but not as good as the american doctor because the american doctor wants a bigger cut, who cares if you make 2 or 4 million a year, you're still living comfortable, that extra 2 million or so the american doctor makes is the cost of society with fear and anxiety that we will not be helped in a hospital, if those greedy american doctors took a paycut, EVERYBODY in the USA will never have to WORRY about ANY hospital bills EVER AGAIN, i think psychologically when americans fear the government about health, they feel weakened inside and i think that feeling is a very bad disease, one that can kill, if our american government cares, they should set up a national spot (in washington DC or near there) where any american can go to freely and GET 100% HELP with their MEDICAL PROBLEM without any COST

do you think a doctor, should be paid if they make a mistake.why should i have to repay someone back if i make a mistake.yet a doctor can make a mistake and still be paid for it.same goes for lawyers.the FDA is made up of doctors, and they are killing the american people.they let people ad things to our food chain.and then tell us it;s ok.ever wonder why there is so much cancer in this country.and over weight people here in america.bet the FDA knows why.it;s all about money.we need more doctors like patch adams.the insurance companies are another problem in this country as well.and the ceo;s of just about every hospital in america.everything is about the almighty dollar, not about good medical care for the people.michael moore, tells the truth and everyone wants to put him out of business.i;am glad someone is trying to look out after the welfare of the people.because the government sure is;nt.neither are the doctors.again all about how much i can make.

America has a market based economy. That said, I think it's a supply issue. The number of Doctors is limited so that they can charge higher prices.

Maybe we need to explore making it less stringent for aspiring doctors to get accepted into Medical School.

Think about it, students with a 3.8 GPA as an undergrad have a difficult time getting accepted to a Medical School. The Medical industry (American Medical Association) will argue that this stringent selection criteria is to improve quality. But in reality, all it does is turn people away from becoming doctors. It shortens the supply of doctors, and allows them to charge higher prices.

ONE Problem

Many doctors are almost broke. I have a near by neighbor that is a Brain Surgeon He pays $350K in malpractice insurance fees every year. Takes 3 months off to go back to school for now techniques and pays the salary for 4 women in his office.

Out of that million he got for working on peoples heads he only has enough left to make the payment on his 15 years of student loans.

Insurance gets the Lion's Share of the health care dollar

To be truthful, despite the fact that it particularly is nowhere on the threshold of his 'in basic terms appropriate', my nicely-known Michael Caine action photograph is Jack The Ripper, the area he's the detective investigating the killings. appropriate era piece, particularly frightening...I observed it mutually as i grew to grow to be particularly youthful and the innovations of the methodical case and the grotesque murders have not in any respect left me. Been a great Michael Caine fan ever for the reason that...i think of of The Ipcress checklist is a diverse 2d. dark Knight for shizzle. As I reported I rejoice with good detective paintings!

Without any cost? There's ALWAYS a cost. No matter what. Someone's gonna pay, regardless. Whether it be money, time or availability. Whoever doesn't think that is living on Fantasy Island. With BIgfoot and the Loch Ness Monster. Throw in the Yeti for good measure.

I think that the insurance industry is a large part of the problem. Doctors have to protect themselves from malpractice by paying for malpractice insurance. They claim to have to charge more for care to cover the cost of this insurance. Medical insurance has to go up to match this increase in costs. U.S. industries have a difficult time competing in the world economy trying to shoulder this burden so they shift more of it on to the workers.

I would like to see all insurance become not for profit. That would take a huge burden off of the U.S. economy.

Michael Moore is a sicko. Why should we listen to a man that's 525 pounds overweight tell us about our health care?

You want to set up free health care for everyone in the nation in Washington D.C.? Are you going to pay for millions of people to fly and temporarily live in Washington D.C.?

Only the cosmetic surgeons to the hollywood stars make that kind of bank. Most doctors spend 20 years paying off medical school bills.

Here's what I think: hospitals should be run like pro sports teams. Salary caps, playoffs, "superbowl", etc.

Micheal Moore spends his time looking for people that fit his cause. His movies are not accurate since they only show the extreme. Also, if you remember his last political attack Fahrenheit 911, it was right around election time. Now his movie Sicko came out to influence people to vote for Universal Health Care. Just remember, that while his movies are informative, they are not practical.

Here's what I think the problem truly is....there are people like you who watch Michel Moore's movies and then become brainwashed. Who are you to tell doctors that they should have to take a pay cut? If a doctor works hard and builds up his practice, you think he should be punished by being forced to pay the bills of others? That is ridiculous. If you honestly believe that, then you are a socialist.
