When I was a teen, Gosh help my mother... I played the violin and the flute! My sister played the drums and electric guitar! Through the years I have spent time with a tamborine, as well as singing. So I guess my vocal chords are my 'instrument!' I did play the piano at an early age, I only knew: 'Alley Cat.' and 'Away In A Manger.' I really wish I knew how to play accoustic guitar or even a Native american flute. Peace, bella

I can't believe more have said it. I have played the guitar for five years now. It's really easy to pick up, and nothing impresses a group more than whipping out one and playing a couple of songs. It's also a ton of fun to just play alone or when there's nothing better to do.

I took piano lessons on-and-off for about 2 years as a kid. I was pretty good for a kid who's teacher was a teenaged girl that had her BF waiting for her in the next room, yelling to ask her when she was gonna be done! It took my concentration level to the bottom! I got bored anyway and didn't want to practice...a typical kid and now I wish I'd stuck with it. I can pick a tune out by ear, but don't have a piano or a keyboard, so...c'est la vie!
I hope you stick with it and not be like me, looking back saying "I should've kept it up!"

I am starting to learn the Drums again. My mom said i was able to play was i was younger but now i SUCK but dont worrie if i need more help then i can always ask my awesome boyfriend. Oh and piano is super easy. How long have you been playing?

I began playing trombone when I was 10 years and get it out occasionally now (i'm 26). I haven't played it regularly since just out of high school. I also am learning the tenor sax. Have always wanted to and decide it'd be something to do.
