Winch on a sport quad?

I am wondering if i get a sport quad is it posible to put a winch on it. like a 400ex
some people say u can some say no
how do you do it??

The quad must have a battery.
If the sport quad you get has an electric start, you're all set.
If it doesn't have a battery, you'll have to attach one - but then the quad will have no way to re-charge it.
You'll have to charge the battery at home and there's no telling how many times you can use the winch in the trails before the battery goes dead.

I have TRX 400 Ex and looking at it, you could mount. They do make hand winches that provide the same amount of pulling power as electric winches (like ARB). Usually with about 6,000 lbs of pulling power.

you can purchase a hand crank winch and they work good, they are small and portable and designed for sport atv's
