PUBLIC TRANSIT because i have had school bus experiences that were not good for example: One day last year it was snowing and i was on a school bus there was so much snow and traffic that i didn't get home till 8 at night! I was supposed to be at home by like around 2:30. I think that if I used the train it wouldn't have been like that. Also because people on the bus are very mean to each other for example: One time last year i was on a school bus and this black kid came on our bus and he was new on the school bus and as soon as we passed under a dark tunnel some kid was like whoa where did that black kid go! Plus kids on the school bus smoke and throw stuff like rubber bands at peoples heads. Its so annoying! I'm so glad that i moved schools and I live right next to the school (i walk to the school now). hope i helped<3 =]

Depends on where you live. Here in Las Vegas, there is a bus system. Thats it. It's a comuting town, and I have been on the bus. It's not very pleasant at all, and dont expect to be anywhere quickly

Public transit is VERY inadequate where I live. You have to drive everywhere because everything is so sprawled out and there's a very weak bus system. No rail system at all.

Chicago Transit Authority needs a major improvement. I'm grateful for it but it can be better.

I live in the 'burbs now, but grew up in Chicago and agree with Nico. I don't have a problem with the metra rail system, but buses can be a real pain and expensive.

Need more! Although I should be catching the train to work instead of driving, that 30 minutes of extra sleep in the morning is hard to give up though....

I hate it. The damn Cleveland RTA buses are usually empty, creating thick, smog. And when there are people on them, they are usually crack-heads, winos, mentally ill, thugstas -- or a combination of these loser-categories shipping these cretins into nice parts of town under the guise of "diversity" only to lower property values and ruin everything for the normal people who don't smoke crack.

Public transit... ? what is that, do you mean that car in my drive way... that doesn't involve awful smelling odors in the moving box with wheels... and akward feeling of being squished by somebody bigger than you....
