It probably is the bc, actually.
When my sister first went on it, she had a very heavy period for almost 2 weeks, then a steady light flow for another 3 months.
That stuff screws with your system.

Birth control has different effects on people, I took Yazmin..and now I'm 10 days from giving birth...lol. Anyways it changed my period a little but not that much... you should check with your Dr to see if this is normal just in case.

Talk to your doctor, but it's probably just side effects of starting a new pill bc of the hormones... your body is trying to adjust to the new hormones that are being introduced into your system... Also make sure you are taking the pills at the same time every day bc if you don't it can make you spot or have worse side effects, plus it won't be as effective.

Some birth control when you start it makes it heavier then it turns into lighter periods. Maybe you should call your doctor and see if that is a side effect. Hope you feel better and good luck!

Did you have sex way before your period came? If so, then you might be pregant. U might be miss carrageing. Or you might have a tuble baby. I have a tuble baby and I was bleeding for like 3 weeks and if I didn't have surgy then I was going to die! Go and have it checked out!

are you in lots of pain? to me it sounds like it might be a misscarrige. but it could be your birth control trying to get used to your body. if i where your first of all dont freak out, just give you doctor a call and ask him/her some questions.

It depends for how long you had your period.
Its fine if you had it less then two years.
It takes time for it to get regular.
Sometimes i have my period twice a month..
youre fine as long as its not like a month long.
