It would take many pages to tell it all, but I will try to give you "part" of the short version. A very long time ago, I discovered my inner child. He happens to to be the most destructive part of my core. I was able to observe him and the destruction he had caused in my life . When I finally found out who and what and where he was,I caught him and put him in my inner cage. Whenever he gets loose and starts to make trouble for me, I catch him , and put him back in his cage. The rest is called :discipline" and " self control".. Sometimes I let that child out for a very little time because he is the "funny", "creative' "loving" "kind" part of the core, but he is also Mr.. Mischief. By the way, we all have an inner child, even you Little Chic.

To me honey, other than my family members, I have to protect myself from unnecessary situations though. If I do not know how to protect myself, then whatever efforts and love my parents did to protect me will go down the drain instead.

I know what you mean. The answer; friends and/or family, or you could be like me and play chess all the time as to keep my self busy. But I wouldn't recommend that cause my life is really F'ed up.

There is nothing to protect.
There is no "you" anymore than there is a horizon. We look, and we see the horizon, but when we pursue it, we cannot find it, we cannot grasp it.
"You" is a concept designating a perceived self with boundaries. There are no boundaries.
