all us football fans know that Chad Johnson trash talks a lot, but is he really trying to be a malicious asshole? or is he just trying to entertain fans who like to see a confident player who makes the game fun.

I like his enthusiasm... I also like T.O. before he started bashing teammates. I'd like to see more of it from more guys as long as it doesn't take away from the team's goals.

I think he is just having fun. The players on the other teams seem to love him. He played the ravens once and they had him wired, when chris the cb broke up a pass play to chad, chad said that's ok i'll get it next time. Unlike T.O., Chad just lives to have fun. He is the class clown of the NFL

He makes it fun. Why else are you going to watch the Bengals? He's not attacking anyone personally and the other players know that it's just for fun. Sending Pepto over to your opponent is pretty funny.

He just loves attention. Many players in the NFL say that he is vocal, but doesn't trash talk. Many players actually enjoy his talking during the game as talk back to him. He doesn't talk negatively and doesn't act to mean toward the players so his talk remains light hearted. But he does like to hear himself talk.

im not a bengals fan but i would like 2 see chad traded or released because i think hes sitting out to prove his point not because he doesnt want 2 play football anymore.

Entertainer. Needs to step up his game, though. Not top tier elite, like Moss, Owens, Smith, etc.

I think it's just entertainment. He doesn't have much to entertain with right now, especially when the Bengals aren't winning.

i think he is a condfident player who likes to talk it. he backs it up thought he is second in the afc in receiving yards. he makes the game more fun and it is very entertaining to see ocho cinco talk it and do endzone celebrations after the TD.
