OK. Beth Phoneix. Yes, she's a woman. Yes, she's muscular. But no, she's not a man. No, she doesn't take steroids. If she did, she would be suspended right now. Just because a woman is a wrestler, and muscular, some people decide to call her 'unnatural' or 'manly'. OK, so since she's not like all the other pixie sticks in the WWE, she's not a woman? There are alot of you on here that agree with me, and I appreciate that, so I'm not ranting at you. But it sickens me, that a woman who worked her as$ off to be where she is right now, only gets rumors put around that shes on steroids or is a man or isn't 'girly' enough. I love the fact that she's not like the rest of the women in the business. Just because she doesn't wear pink frills and doesn't weigh 110 lbs, people don't want to accept what she is. A woman wrestler. Not a 'diva'. So before someone else comments on Beths 'masculinity', think about it. Being unique, is GOOD.

I like her.
She doesn't have to fit some pretty mold for me to enjoy her abilities. I'd prefer a womens champ who can manage to contribute to a match besides skimpy outfits and looks. There are only a few who can do that nowadays in WWE.
Far too many cannot and will not need to because they can easily be thrown into a bra and panties, or pillow fight match. I guess thats all they wanna do, and management agrees.
However, I cannot believe everyone who is using performance enhancers will get suspended at some point. Vince and co. will go a long way to protect the names of its biggest stars. He feels he would lose so much money if they did get busted. Whereas some wrestlers name show up on lists, etc. others could purchase thru people who purchase thru others and the superstars are further protected. As for their own drug testing, I don't buy it. They likely test some people for different things and fail to test for the same substances on the big names.

THANK YOU! Finally, someone who agrees with me! I am so glad Beth is in the WWE. She is bringing WRESTLING back to the Womens Division! What really pisses me off is those people who say "Beth is a man!!! Kelly kelly rules!!!!" Seriously, that just makes me so freakin mad! Beth is an actual women's wrestler! Why do these non-wrestling playboy bimbo's get cheered on? I would much rather see more women wrestlers. Its a shame that Krissy Vaine quit the WWE, she is a great wrestler. Its so unfair how there are these "Diva's" like Ashley, Extreme Expose, and Maria who just get in the WWE for their looks, when they're are women out their who have dreamed of being in the WWE their entire life, and actually know how to wrestle, and are working their @sses off to make it in the buisness. Total bullsh!t. Anyway...Beth Pheonix rules! I hope she gets a lengthy title reign. She deserves it! Hopefully the WWE will get more women wrestlers like TNA has been doing.

Thank you for stating this! Here's my rant back (LOL)...
I am personally sick and tired of seeing questions like, "Is Beth Phoenix a man?" Can't people tell the difference these days? So what she has visible muscle and can wrestle. That doesn't make her a man! The same can be said about former WWE diva Jazz, as she was muscular and could wrestle well. I personally like the fact that she was brought in by WWE, but I hope the WWE begins to look for women like Beth. It is too infested with "models" posing as wrestlers and getting by on looks.

Thank u I just posted up a similar question like that and I feel u...I respect Beth Phoneix because she is a wrestler but she's also beautiful...I hate it now that most of the women of then wwe are used for eye candy. She got the belt and she deserves it...She is what womens wrestling is about and her and other greats like Fab moolah (r.i.p), Chyna, Lita, Mickie, victoria and what we need more of and not just these divas like candice, melena, kelly kelly etc who are just a sex symbol.

I agree with you 100%.
If some of these fan-girls don't like a female wrestler, I've noticed it usually goes more against their looks instead of talent. And then some have the nerve to suggest that the GUYS are jealous of Orton, Cena, and the like if we don't like them.
Ladies like her and Awesome Kong are hopefully bucking the trend (at least in WWE and TNA) of a wrestler being a stick-figure model posing as a wrestler.

I agree with you 100000% ive been thinking the same thing. It's also the same for Victoria back in 03-04 when she was more muscular people said (and still say) she's manly looking when she's not
Beth is one of my fav divas because she actuaally wrestle and isn't just eye candy
