It sounds wierd that a person with the nickname "Cross Stitch Kelly" would recommend a movie like this, but I like "Hellboy." The Nazis create a machine that brings a baby demon from another dimension, but the Americans find it, and a paranormal scientist raises it as his son. He becomes a monster hunter for the FBI, but boy does he have an attitude! When he is grabbed by a huge multi-armed monster, he is holding a string of hand grenades. As the monster starts to eat him, he pulls the pin and says, "Oh, this is gonna hurt." He is swallowed, the grenades go off one by one, and he's blown across the room. He gets up slowly, and says, "Gonna be sore in the morning."

I recently rented the contender. That was something I would overlook at the club, but it was pretty good. Now here is the biggie...how about The Sound of Music. Or an oldie...Victor Victoria or Pillow Talk. Great oldies that most would not think to rent.

Imagine me and you is a great movie (if you can get past the fact that it's 2 women falling in love and see that it's 2 people falling in love) The one woman is getting married (to a man) and spots someone across the room and falls head over heels in love. Only problem is the spottie is a woman.

Jackie Brown by Quinton Tarentino. Samuel L Jackson's hair is worth the fee for the rental.

Check out Boon Dock Saints....you may have been one of the folks to make this a cult favorite, but if not, it's a great ride.
