And from which pitcher?

Absolutely no question....Curveball from a young Dwight Gooden...

You respect his 99 mph fastball because you know it can kill you. You fear the curveball because it will make you look like an idiot in front of 40,000 people.

A 90+ mph outside fast ball from Papelbon, for sure.

Edit: Mike, I'm not sure who you were talking about when you said no one answered the question which pitch & which pitcher. Most everyone who answered this question has said the type of pitch and the pitcher. Some (including myself) have even said the speed of the ball.

Remember Mike Scott - 80's with the Astros? His split fingered fastball was just EVIL...

Fastball from Justin Verlander.

(A. You cant really see it and it would be hard to hit something 100 MPH.

(B. What if it hits you? Ouch.

If it is a first at bat facing him (maybe even the first few at bats against him) I would say Wakefields Knuckleball. Thing is brutal when he is in a zone.
