Well, it would be a nice gesture on the part of the city or county to provide a free parking day within walking distance of the polls. All they need to do is put bags over the meters. But you can get a free ride from your house to the polling place and back by calling party headquarters. Unless, of course, you are registered with a minority party, at least minor locally, which cannot get up enough volunteers to provide this service.

Or if you can take the day off, you might just be one of the volunteers that provides such a service.

In America you want free parking LOL ya right! Try a small town that is about the only place your going to park for free. They charge you weekly fee to pick up the garbage, then its sold to the entire world as a product. LOL are you seriuos! The more I talk to fellow North Americans the more I realize how many can't afford to drive, let alone park anymore.

I didn't see anywhere in the bill of rights or books of America where it says anything is free. Hallariouis! If it was free surely they found a way to make it not free anymore.

yes, definitive, of course, you should get free parking while you are voting because Vote is a privilege of obligation for the good of all citizen specially for the one that might give you a ticket if you park in a parking meter without pay..

Voting may be a right, but free parking isn't. Where do you vote that you have to pay for parking? You can vote by mail without paying for parking, but you might have to pay for the stamp.

you would think there would be a bike rack were i vote and they dont have me vote in pencil you would think it would be mandatory to be in black ink or red no its better they charge you any ammount they pull out of there behinds good you know it always gos to a good cause like sustainable living and reperations anyways so its a feel good thing but the best part is how they make it a mistery for what your voteing for and the way they want you to vote is so slanted i like to not think for myself nor do i like to be informed i just like to abcbdbdb it like the tests in school then see what comes out of it i want more people to tell me they will git in trouble if they tell me anything about what the hell is going on and what the hell am i voting on i like to show up in the cold and the rain and not vote for anyone just make a note that i was there they really like that one no write myself down in the blank space and fill in the circle they really will like that one

Those are two completely different and unrelated things.

If I have the privilege and right to vote, that doesn't mean I should have a clean place to use the restroom or food in my belly while doing so.

Lots of places have free pick up service to get people to the polls.... so who needs to park?

Just by asking that question we need to consider your privilege and right of being able to vote. Take a econ 101 class...

It all depends where you park and vote. It might even be better to just ride a bus, or even better, walk.

Maybe we should be able to vote at Drive Up ATM style windows. Cool idea. I like it. Lets work on that.
