My 9 month old loves to self feed. I give her cheerios, diced cheese, diced veggies and fruit........ but I need some more ideas. She doesn't have any teeth yet ( my other kids didn't get any teeth until about 13-14 months!) and I try to only give her healthy foods. Any suggestions of something new to try?

Freeze yogurt tubes then cut them up for her,my son loves this on the really bad teething days and it is good for her too,Toast with a bit of jam or butter, scrambled egg yolk and mix some cheese in it(try to avoid egg whites till 1 year)Sausage(chicken or turkey is healthier than pork)deli meats, even croissants.Even if she does not have teeth they can amaze you as to what they can eat as you know with having other children as long as they cant choke on it.I hope this helps!

Gerber has those little flavored wheat puff stars and pinwheels that dissolve in the mouth. My daughter loved them. Babies really don't need that much of a variety like we do.

Avacado is GREAT, its my son's favorite. Mango. Potato cooked and cut into small pieces, bread and butter.... hmmm... My son is the same age, and he just eats whatever we're eating. He has his front teeth, just recently got them, I dont think they make a huge difference, he still uses his gums to chew things.
