There is no real nursery theme. The mother didnt think she was going to have any more kids and got rid of all most everything for a baby. Not that it matters anyway, she had a girl first. And no, It is not mine! It is for my cousin who is due 2 weeks after me.

I like the Winnie-the-Pooh idea, but in all honesty, you're probably not going to find a lot of ppl willing to bring gifts if you do decide to go through with your baby shower. The general rule of baby showers is only on the first kid unless it's been 5 or more years since your last kid. Most ppl don't get a baby shower for every child. I wish we did. lol. But that's the general rule of thumb.

Two ideas one you can ask the mon the theme of the nursery then use that as theme.. Second since this is he second child do a pampered mommy theme, since she has a lot of what she needs have guest bring gifts to pamper the mom such as spa gifts, comfortable clothes for her, lotions, manicures. You can even have it at a spa and everyone get a manicure.. I'd rather have it in a home but still base it around the mom.. If this is a different gender from the first baby, have some guests bring in baby clothes for him... Also, lots of food.

Anything not involving gifts, unless its a different father with a different family, I refuse to be pressured into buying second gifts and think most cases of 2nd showers are greedy.

Even greedier if this is your own shower.
