Don't get me wrong, I love animals, and I'm all for an organization for animal rights, BUT, the way they approach it makes them look so stupid and insane.

Their entire goal is total animal liberation... That is the entire point of an animal rights organization which is why I am for animal welfare, not animal rights..
Total animal liberation would include...
To gradually get rid of all companion animals through mandatory altering and euthanasia...
http://www.peta.org/campaigns/ar-petaonpets.asp
"We at PETA very much love the animal companions who share our homes, but we believe that it would have been in the animals' best interests if the institution of "pet keeping"—i.e., breeding animals to be kept and regarded as "pets"—never existed."
http://www.peta.org/campaigns/ar-responsiblebreeders.asp
"Animal Rights Uncompromised:
There's No Such Thing as a 'Responsible Breeder'"
http://www.peta.org/campaigns/ar-feralcats.asp
"Having witnessed the painful deaths of countless feral cats instead of seeing them drift quietly "to sleep" in their old age, we cannot in good conscience advocate trapping, altering, and releasing as a humane way to deal with overpopulation and homelessness."
http://www.peta.org/feat-abc_campaign.asp
"The only way to make our communities "no-kill" is to work toward a "no-birth" nation through legislative measures that mandate spaying or neutering"
They are trying to accomplish that along with the gradual banning of animal products and conversion of the sheep-like public to veganism..
They also are against conservation of WILD animals through for instance, reintroduction to the wild
http://www.peta.org/campaigns/ar-predatorreintroduction.asp
If they don't want animals released to the wild, but, they want to get rid of zoo's, where do they want those animals to go?
http://www.peta.org/campaigns/ar-zoos.asp
"PETA opposes zoos because zoo cages and cramped enclosures deprive animals of their most basic needs.
Returning captive-bred animals to the wild is, in most cases, impossible because animals reared in zoos are denied the opportunity to learn survival skills, may carry diseases picked up from other animals at the zoo or even from people, and often have no natural habitat left to return to because of human encroachment."

I really want to know what animals they think they are helping.. Not domestic animals, companion animals, working animals or wild animals, so, what animals exactly do they think they're helping?

I work in animal rescue and am an animal welfarist, not an animal rightist.. There are plenty of organizations that do real things that help real animals. Peta just passes legislation to serve their own agenda and prints flashy ads to get donations to use for that end.. Anyone that thinks supporting them anyways because they do some good needs to rethink that. There are plenty of local shelters that do real good and could use the support..

Peta saying they help animals is like an abortion clinic advertising that they help babies..

The way PETA approaches the issue of preserving animal dignity and life is to fight fire with fire--i.e. answering people who refuse to accept that animals have as much right to live a happy life as human beings do.

If you were an animal who was about to be boiled alive, like a chicken, or hit in the skull with a sledgehammer, like a cow, you wouldn't object to being saved by PETA, would you. Look at your pet and imagine him in a small laboratory cage alone being blinded by chemicals until he screams.

PETA saves animals from all kinds of torture. God bless them for it. They speak out because they know that animals in pain can only scream for help--and most people never hear them.

Yeah however i might recommend getting a canines from a shelter or rescue interior the tip its someones determination the place they flow to get their new family contributors puppy. as long as they flow by using a competent breeder I don’t see something incorrect with it. The Biden’s aren’t be the only in demand people who've gotten a canines from a breeder. I don’t think of they are dissatisfied that the canines substitute into purebred there are limitless rescues for the era of this united states dedicated to precise purebred canines. Had they accompanied from consistent with say “German Shepard Rescue of Minnesota” they in all threat could have been praised.

Definitely. You should watch the episode of Penn & Teller's show on showtime, the one YA censoring won't let me tell you the title of, about animal rights and PETA. It's truly incredible the things they uncovered about the organizations hypocrisy.

Yes they are total retards. Like activists in a lot of causes, showing their a$$ seems to be more important than really achieving a goal. Their antics and attitudes do far more to turn people away than they do to change minds and circumstances.

Besides, if God didn't want people to eat animals he wouldn't have made them out of meat.

PETA is such a ridiculous, terroristic, fanatical self-righteous group that they don't even deserve recognition. Their beliefs don't even allow you to have a pet. They want to take them all away, don't believe it is right to own one.....then they euthanize them. Is that really better for the animal?

I totally agree. They go a little too extreme when it comes to animals.
