In the early nineties, i used to watch a cartoon. It was about a small yellow person-like entity. Before the cartoon started, there was a small claymation skit of him, and then he would introduce the cartoon. He was a few inches tall, yellow, and had a relatively big head for his body. He lived in a family's kitchen and would do day-to-day activities there, such as surf in the faucet, tan in the oven, ice skate in the freezer, etc.. Does anyone else remeber this? or are the drugs finally starting to get to me?

>.> We must have watched different channels because I have no idea what cartoon you're talking about and neither does my husband (and he's a big kid who has almost all the older cartoons on his computer and DVDs).

Sorry, I hope someone can help you out. The only one I can think of is Gumby, but he was green and didn't reside in a kitchen, though I thought of it because you mentioned the claymation.

A hallucination is a perception in the absence of a stimulus that is believed to be genuine, ie. the subject experiences an imaginary stimulus as being real. A pseudohallucination is similar to an hallucination in all respects except that of absolute belief in the authenticity of the stimulus. In an illusory experience, a genuine sensation is attributed to an incorrect cause (eg. misinterpreting a coat hanging on a door to be an intruder). A delusional perception is where a genuine perception (ie. correctly sensed and interpreted) is given some additional (and typically bizarre) significance. Hallucinations may occur in any sensory modality—visual, auditory, olfactory, gustatory, tactile, proprioceptive, equilibrioceptive, nociceptive, thermoceptive.

Doesn't sound familiar, but that doesn't mean it wasn't real! Try looking at Don Markstein's Toonopedia, on line He has over a thousand entries and they cover the 90's, too, so chances are you might be able to find it by going through his alphabetized index.

(Even if you can't find it, Toonopedia is lots of fun. Enjoy!)
