replace them, or put more water on the screen

Assuming the wiper blades are in good condition.....................

1 switch on the wipers
2, lift each wiper in turn off the w/screen
to see which one is noisy.
3, Take a note of at what position it is
noisy. (left to right or right to left)
4, Noisy wiper blades are often caused by the blade pointing forward and not trailing. If you look at the blades working you will see that there is enough "slack" to allow the blade to "trail" on each sweep.
If the blade does not "trail" and points/leans in the direction it travels it will vibrate and make a sort of "Screeching noise.

This can be cured by getting 2 adjustable spanners and between the pivot point and the centre of the blade
twist the arm so that it "trails" the blade.

Don't EVER wipe the blades with alcohol. Alcohol dries out the blade compounds and causes them to deteriorate much faster. Blade inserts, except for BMW's, can be purchased at most auto parts stores, are reasonably priced, and should be replaced at least annually. More often in harsh climates or if car is parked in sun all day. Wiper inserts for BMW's are only available from BMW dealers and cost an arm and left testicle, like all BMW parts.

Replace blades. Use only when there is water. Also try a product called "Rain X". It is a water shedding liquid that can help alot. Comes in a yellow plastic bottle.

RAIN-X works well on your windows, making the rain slide off by using momentum. Then you dont have to use your wipers

It will save you $20 or so to replace your blades. RAIN-X is only like $5 at walmart or something

You could replace the blades or try swabbing alcohol on the blades to clean them and make them more pliable.

Could be one of two things
1 worn blades need replacing, easy job
2 worn bushes in linkage, take to mechanic.
