Every time you point how Bush has broken the law, lied, etc., cons invariably scream "But Billy did such and such!" in response.

Did that excuse get you out of being punished when you were in grade school, to point out that a classmate did the same thing?

No, it didn't.

Is this how cons show that they're all about personal responsibility?

I have to have a source showing that cons rely heavily on the "blame Clinton" excuse?

Are you kidding?

Stereotype, I didn't read your link, but I didn't vote down your answer either.

Sorry to disappoint you by failing to live up to your expectation of what I would do.

You accused me of voting down your answer. I didn't do it.

And there's nothing wrong with being confrontational. Confronting difficult issues gets them solved or at least acted upon.

God forbid a republican president is not God-like and always correct. It has to be the previous democractic president's fault for all modern-day issues.

The guy who said Clinton and Carter are better than the Bush administration have to be ignorant, or downright stupid. Carter and Clinton are two of the worst presidents of all time. Carter did nothing besides sit in the Oval office. Bill Clinton, started 9/11. He bombed two tents in Afghanistan and had a national security adviser literally ask him. "Mr President, we have Bin Laden, should I advise to shoot?" He didn't give the go-ahead to shoot. Instead he let Bin-Laden get away and then fired two pointless Scud-missles. If that didn't piss of the Taliban I don't know what could've. Oh but wait, you Dems are gonna say, Bush pissed the Taliban off. I have to ask. What did Bush do? Bush become the President, and in 8 months, BAM! 9/11, and if someone wants to throw down a "Yeah, well what about the Iraq War" excuse right now, I'll hit you with some numbers. 79% of American agreed with the Bush Administrations idea to go to war. It was publically backed, and one last point. Clinton and Carter are both on the 10 worst presidents of all time list. Bush, still isn't.

And Sly Kitty, one thing. President Bush saved Clintons *** a couple years ago. Clinton pardoned one of the greatest liars and con-artists of all time, this man had conned 27 Million Dollars out of Americans. When pressed for a reason why, Clinton never had any. Clinton then called in a favor which Bush obliged to, Congress passed a law stating that any presidental documents don't have to be opened until 20 years after the president has left office. So 20 years, we might see those documents you're talking about, with the Clinton Pardon documents.

The point is there is little difference between a Democrat and a Republican in office. What's amazing is how silent the Liberals are when the Democrats break the law. I live in NY State. They elected a Democrat who was under indictment!

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/10/28/ap/politics/mainD8L1PRTG1.shtml

The liberals are always the first and loudest to complain, but when you say nothing, you are allowing it to continue. To say that ALL Republicans use the Kindergarten excuse is not only stereotyping, but it's outright false. Most Republicans that I know are fuming over the current administration, and in no way defend it. You're talking about a couple of kids on Yahoo, and have no idea what's happening in the real world. Read and learn, and please stop the rhetoric. This country is going down the tubes with this crap.

I see you voted down my answer in about 20 seconds. You never read the article. Sad. I hope you don't going to the voting booth like that.

Why are you so confrontational? I "expected" you to act a certain way?

edit: after reading your Q's I should expect you to act a certain way. Wow, you are consistently confrontational and very predictable. It doesn't take much to spout off the party line.

You want confrontation? Liberals just want to keep taking and taking from people who are productive. I live in Liberal NY State where handouts are common! Our poverty rate is 25% because of this crap, and I cannot get ahead despite 16 years of successful growth in my business. I met with a tax attorney because of the ridiculous pressure that I am under just to pay the idiots who run this state. He advised me to move! I make twice what teachers make, but they have a retirement plan that pays them 80% of the salary plus health care and no state tax. They are WAY better off than I am! Do you have a clue what 80K plus Health care is worth? MILLIONS (retirement at 55!!!). My property taxes keep going up,Elliott Spitzer eliminated my STAR credit ($700), and I am at a point where I am considering selling my business and leaving. I have given up my entire life so people can sit around and do nothing, and now I am basically at a point where EVERYTHING I've worked for has gone to the government. People like you live everywhere in NY, and that's why people like me are so pissed off. It was all for NOTHING!!!!! GET IT? zip. Sell the house, the business, and move! Nice? What American Dream? It's all TAX, TAX, TAX!!!!!!!! This is the LIBERAL WAY, and it has been going on for decades here, so don't start with the "it's Bush's fault" because it's not. It's local Liberals (Republicans included...you cannot win in NY without being Liberal!). Poverty is everywhere because people will always take advantage of a handout. 45,000 people have left since 2000! These are the most educated and most productive. And don't think for one second that I don't know what the Republicans have been doing for the past 7 years....spending like Democrats. This country is going right down the tubes with the massive government crap, and it's amazing that the Liberals keep crying for more. Bush is much more fiscally liberal than Clinton was, but you libs sat silent when he cut programs. It's all rhetoric, and people like you who vote party line enable these morons.

read this....and I don't care if it's a Dem or Rep...Just cut this crap out!....we cannot pay any more. We are tapped out.

p.s. You gave Ted Kennedy a free pass for murder just like the Liberals in MA. This is my problem with liberals. The end justifies the means.

I dislike both Clinton and Bush, but on this forum some believe you have to choose, as if a third choice free of corruption and blessed with common sense doesn't and will never exist.

To those of you saying that Bush has committed no crimes: Then why are he and his administration stonewalling and not handing over documents that are being asked for? Dragging their feet till when? January 20, 2009?

Bush hasn't broken the law. What conservatives are pointing out is the absurdity and hypocracy of those kinds of statements. Just saying that the moon is made out of cheese doesn't make it so, except to school children.

When will liberals be constant and hold their side to the same standards as they hold republicans? I know the answer, NEVER, they are partisan hacks.

They would find something else, these B.S. artists.

I've seen it. I know what you are talking about. I don't need to see evidence. Just coming on here everyday, I believe I see at least one post like that.

Bush has committed no crime so there is no argument there. Clintoon was impeached and stripped of his law license. There's really no comparison or excuse as you say...

I have not seen any proof that Bush lied or broke the law. If there was such proof, then there would be an impeachment. Dont see that either.

Come on, you've got to admit, getting a bj and then lying about it is much worse than starting a war that has killed thousands of Americans, and innocent Iraqis, cost billions of $$ with no end in sight!
