Well if you don't mean in a physical sense what do you mean then? How can you "make love" in any other way? There isn't some ingredients list or recipe!
Lust = desire = physical sexual acts.
Nothing to do with love.
To me, love is to do with respect, loyalty, intimacy, care, connection, feel that person you love matter to you and you matter to them.

Wow... I was going to have fun with it until I saw the "obvious" disclaimer!
Love can not be made is wrong, there are plenty of people who make love (still not in the physical sense). I would have to go with yes, yes it does take love to make love. How can love be made if none is ever received?

Love is the act of considering the self interest of another as though it were your own.
Strictly speaking it can be done unilaterally, but it's far more likely to occur/endure if it's mutual.
Does it take love to make love?
No, but it helps.
A bit like asking if it takes money to make money.

'The path of least resistance is an easy route to tread. We choose it every morning when we stumble out of bed. Why should we strive and struggle when it seems our way is barred. When we can sit and wallow in the habits which die hard...' This old poem has a particular piquancy for you at the moment. You know what you would rather like to do - and what you would prefer not to do any more. Willpower, though, remains irritatingly difficult to summon. Give it one more go. It's worth it.

I don't think love is made, it just is. Love means caring about someone else more than you care about yourself. You either love someone or you don't. If you love someone then you will do anything for them. You can't create that, it just exists.

Nah, its just something men say to make it sound more romantic....... I have never 'made love' it sounds so cheesy. I'd rather go for a good old roll in the hay or failing that, a good, hard shag.

Yes, & my favorite saying is: You have to be in love to make love, because otherwise, it's just sex. Right?
