I'm thinking about getting a breast reduction done since my breasts are causing me back and shoulder pain as well as being insecure. My breasts are not recordly huge, they're about a D, but I am only 5'0 tall and they do not fit my frame! I only weigh 105 (which is pretty average for my height), so it's not like losing weight or exercizing would help at all.

you would definitely qualify and it would most likely be covered under your insurance as well. the insurance companies will offer to pay for it if you are experiencing back and shoulder pains because they don't want to pay for back/should/ and breast surgery somewhere down the road when your conditions get worse...it's just costing them more $$ and they don't want that.

i was in your shoes before, i was extremely self concious too. in all honesty, i had this surgery and it is a decision that i am so proud i made. i never regretted it for a second and to this day i am still so glad i did it. i had extreme back pain and actually ended up losing weight after my surgery to maintain my new physique. it is a serious decision, it's your body that you are literally just taking off of you in a matter of a couple hours. but it is so worth it and my self esteem now is sky high. it's one of the best decisions i've made in my life, i'm all for it...and if you want it don't let people talk you out of it...a big chest, especially on a girl your size, is just making you look bigger all around.
plus...shopping for new tank tops and bathing suits and dresses to wear in the summer after my surgery was AMAZING. :)
lots of luck*

It's hard to say. I'm getting one in December. I am 5'3", weigh 120, and I'm a G-cup. I definitely qualify.

However, with your pain and insecurities, I would say defnitely seek it out. If you are under 18, though, wait a little while because your body may still change (I grew two inches during my freshman year of college). Also, chiropractic care could help take care of a lot of your back/shoulder issues in the meantime!

If YOU think you are too big, then you are. Who cares what anyone else thinks!

If you have back pain or other health issues you can get it covered by insurance, as mine did for me.

I had mine done in Feb 2006 and don't regret it one bit!

You would definitely qualify.
