I checked NHL.com and I don't see even one game between the Flames and the Sens.

Are my eyes playing tricks on me?

OTT. MTL. TML

at all this season.
So its not just Calgary that wont play Ottawa this year.

this is the last year of the 4 year schedule they had. their will be a new schedule next season. maybe there's one more year I'm not sure, but i do know they where trying to change it last year when they had a managers meeting at the all star game.

if nhl.com sais no, then no! ur eyes are fine, its just like the devils aren't playing the redwings this season! i like the old days where east and west play each othe more!

Under the current system, each team plays two of the three divisions in the other conference each year. So, over a three year period, you will have played all non-conference teams twice...........once home..........once away.

How do you like the "balanced" schedule Bill? And for the first time in I believe 4 years we actually get to see Pittsburgh! Thanks again to Garry the Fairy!

Nope...different conferences. They only have to play every other year.
