It's true, cranberry juice of any flavor will help and after the infection is gone cranberry juice will help to keep it from coming back. Forget the water.

Yes. A bladder infection can spread up through both ureters into your kidneys. In the kidneys it can cause scarring. It can also become concentrated in any kidney stones you might have. If your infection gets bad enough, you might develop hematuria (blood in your urine).

If you get a bladder infection, go see your doctor. Cranberry juice alone won't knock it out.

Yesssssss, I just got over a bladder infection, and if you don't treat it early enough it can damage your kidneys permente ly. It can make you have kidney stones, as well as severly damage your kidneys. Signs to look out for are tremendous lower back pain, a low grade fever, and an aching body! Hope your ok, and def. go to the Dr's.

The infection can worsen and travel to your kidneys. For minor infections I find it best to drink a lot of cranberry juice. It really does work for me. For a major one, you'll probably have to get antibiotics from your doctor.

you need to go to the doc asap. A bladder infection can spread to your kidneys. Make sure you only drink water ( and alot of it ) to dialate it. Drinking water helps soo much when you have it.

If it is not treated it can infect your kidneys. It takes more than a few glasses of cranberry juice to clear it up. It requires a prescription.
