One of the fish died yesterday, after showing similar behavior during the last few days. The second one seems sick, what can I do?

It sounds like swimbladder disease, which is usually caused by overfeeding

Not much you can do. Did you change the water? Maybe the temp was off? Usually they are pretty hardy fish. But I did buy one from a pet store that developed Ick, it was in a tank. I think they do better in a fish bowl rather than a tank.
