It could be diabetes. Being overweight is a serious risk factor for this. If left unchecked, it can lead to blindness. It causes irreversible damage to your eyes. A simple eye test should be able to pick it up. If you are weighing in at 400lbs, then you should ask your doctor to test you for diabetes, it takes two blood tests and one hour at the pathologist to do the test. And you get the results in a week. Simple, and it could save your life.

Have you been tested for diabetes? Because if you have it, it can definitley effect your vision. My mother, father, and husband are all diabetics. They all have vision problems. My mother developed diabetic retinopathy in just a couple of months and was seeing "floaters" (looked like lines or hair in front of her eyes). The doctor said her retinas were having a slow hemmorage and she had to have two laser surgeries to stop the bleeding. She is now legally blind in one eye. I would get checked for diabetes and go from there. I believe if you have high blood pressure, you can develop glaucoma as well.

Many things can cause this problem. Meds, muscle irregularities in the eye and even diet. Eat lots of green veggies, they have lutein and are great for your eyes. And a better diet will help you overall. FRUITS AND VEGGIES, no/or limited meats, nothing fried, nothing white, no process food, no fast foods.

Being overweight can worsen your vision. It is "normal" for an overweight person to have this occur to them, but it is NOT good. You can actually go blind from being too overweight. You should talk more to your doctor about your vision problem because you can go blind.
