I currently have my computer set up for at&t yahoo dialup. Tomorrow i will be upgrading to there dsl. My question when i put the dsl cd in for download it will just over ride my dialup stuff currently on my computer correct. Or would you guys recomended me romoving the dialup programs off my computer before running the new dsl cd.

If XP or Vista, DO NOT use the AT&T CD!!!

Follow the AT&T hardware connection instructions, then, turn on your DSL modem, then your PC. You should be connected automatically.

If not, call AT&T, they will help you.

Hmmm.... actually I would tell you to do neither. DSL is an "always on" service through your phone lines. I would tell your comp (after you have installed the hardware properly) just to use LAN settings. Once you have hooked up the DSL modem, it should connect via a network cable to the pc, so dial in once and then leave it online.

You pay for it, you might as well use it.

get cable or fiber-op, dont waste your time with phone lines
