Im not asking this cause im black by the way.. they make fun of alot of people.. I think they push the envelope alittle far though so.. please take my race out of this question.. and just answer the qeustion.

I don't know if racist is the right term, but I would call it deliberately offensive to a variety of groups.

Well it is racist but they do it to everyone. There are a few things that I think were a little bit over the top but then what about shows we have when we poke fun of whites? I hate to be one of those blacks that play devils advocate but we have been known to say some pretty rough things.

Not really, it is so funny and like you said they make fun of everyone and if you can't laugh at jokes about your own race then you just don't have a good sense of humor, I am white and I laugh at other comedians of different races when they make fun of white people.

The show is intentionally the antithesis of ghastly Political Correctness. It dares to poke fun at everyone -- and if you'll pay attention, you'll notice that white people are made fun of as well.

In the episode, "Brian Wallows and Peter Swallows" Brian says, "They won't hurt you unless your BLACK or gay."
In the episode when the new yorkers come to quahog, a new yorker talks about the leaves. "Brown like the people I leave at the basketball gym."

Family Guy is a funny show that says things most people are afraid to say. But I don't think it's racist.

No, I think its a funny show. It does push a couple of boundaries but thats whats funny about it. Its no worse than South Park.
