Im sure that a sword could kill those octopuses. Like in humans 2 inches in the right spot could kill u. And that sword sure looks longer than that

In Real life it is possible for an adult to kill a Boar with a sword. I don't think a child would attempt it considering how deadly a boar could be if mistakes were made. However its possible given right circumstances. Just Google it or look on YouTube Many videos and news articles

Zelda can do anything. And yes, I think it would be possible in real life too if you swing that little sword hard enough. Plus pigs are really soft.

Yes.

A sword is designed to do maximum damage, even a relatively weak swing could be enough to kill a pig, if you hit in the correct regions. It might not be enough for an instant kill, but you could certainly do enough damage to make the animal bleed out in a few minutes.

And an octopus is much easier to kill. They present much less resistance, and you could easily cut one clean in half.

Well if he had the strength glove to increase the force of his swing. I would be interested to know the force required to use a short sword to cut through an animal like that.

Well, let's assume that the child has an excess of testosterone and is scared of the animal in question. Testosterone leads to muscle building and fear causes an adrenaline rush that can increase strenght exponentially. I have never seen the game you speak of, but if you're strong enough and scared enough, yeah, you can bash out somethings brains with a piece of metal.

if it was a really dull sword, then it would take a lot of force. But since swords are sharp, they don't need as much force to do a lot of damage.
