I get big build ups of wax and i usually get my ears flush every month or so. So yesterday i got em flush. I moved and i heard crackling noises im like yea thats ok i just had a ton of water in my ear. So today its still crackling! What should i do? I just took mucinex which i was told to take last time because it helps with water behind the ear.

Help anyone?

Call your doctor and he can best answer you. If you take something to dry up your nasal/ear fluids you could cause them to thicken and even harder to drain. People who use lots of drying up drugs will have lots of sinus problems because the sinus fluids cannot drain because of the removal of the water.

Mucinex will not help ear wax.

use an ear wax removal system, like Debrox or some other brand.

Doesn't help? Call your doctor. May not be wax problems causing it, you may need to see an ENT doc. Or, an ENT doc may need to remove the wax. Doesn't hurt, can be done in the office.

I'd go to a clinic. Sounds like an inner ear inflammation, maybe swimmers ear.
