I have a tenant in a rental property I own. I need to evict them immediately. Since the weather is getting cold here is there a date by law that I can not evict them after? If anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU!

Quote from State Bar of Wisconsin:

Can a landlord evict a tenant in winter?

Yes. The time of year has no legal effect on eviction. But some circumstances may affect eviction proceedings. For instance, special requirements may apply to tenants of federally subsidized housing and housing for the elderly.

There is no law in Wisconsin prohibiting eviction at any time of year, regardless of weather conditions. Perhaps you're thinking of the mandate to public utilities, which prevents disconnection of electricity and/or heat in residences over the winter months.

A few years back, I sent a wayward tenant packing shortly after Christmas Day.

No, weather does not give them an excuse to freeload. One month is no differant then any other, this is a business contract.
