then you should be supporting Ron Paul for president! This happened yesterday.. this guy is the real deal..

ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA—"Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul has raised over $3.1 million in the past 19 hours, making today’s the single largest fundraising effort of the 2008 election cycle. At 4:00 pm, the campaign’s $2.7 million broke the record for the largest online presidential primary fundraising effort in a single day, and by 6:30 pm, the campaign broke Mitt Romney’s $3.1 million record for single-day fundraising this year."

Yes and I am already supporting Paul..

To the other claims that some of you have made, isolationist? Paul supports free trade and handling situations with diplomacy. Going to war should be a last resort, because war is costly in lives and money, there are other alternatives to resolving global issues... In extreme cases he wouldn't object to intervention, After 9/11 Paul voted to go into Afghanistan and find Osama Bin Laden.. he also is an adamant supporter of the Letter's of Marque to counter terrorism..

Smart people don't try and tell you how smart they are. But I'm still voting for Ron Paul.

Lol. No, I'm dumb as a box of rocks. Who would admit they are not smart? It's a relative term anyway. It doesn't mean much on its own.

Ron Paul is ok. I prefer Dennis Kucinich but I understand that they are friends.

His fundraising is impressive but it suggests that a lot of Republicans are disgusted with Bush and anyone that sounds like him.

The thing that bugs me about Ron Paul, actually Republicans in general is that they put too much faith in business.
No one likes regulations but the fact is there are a lot of crooks and dishonest people in business. They have no values. We need more regulation that is enforceable, not less, especially with friggin' baby boomers, the Me generation. They have no morals or values. (there are exceptions. they need to speak up more.)

I'm pretty smart and informed. That's why I can't vote for Ron Paul. His foreign policy ideas smack of isolationism and would hamstring us until another Pearl Harbor developed.

If we are going to base the choice of president on money instead of ability then Edwards beats Ron Paul.

I would not vote for that moron Ron Paul if he raised 100 times the amount as the next highest candidate.

I would if his foreign policy wasn't so horrible. His domestic policy is great. He is just about the only one running that understands the Constitution and the concept of limited government. However, his foreign policy of isolationism would hurt our economy and allow our enemies to kill more Americans. What good is a good domestic policy if we are dead?
