Get a crossover cable then use the network wizard on both laptops to create your network. Then you need to allow sharing on drives,files and folders you want to share. You do this but right clicking on them select properties then select the sharing tab and add users etc that way.

use the free XP built-in Files & Settings Transfer Wizard.

Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools.

Yep,

it's called a 'crossover LAN cable' and it goes for bou $1 a metre (8ZAR)

You'll have to share files on both computers to have access and be able to copy the files over. Any questions, please holla

Yes its called a crossover cable. USB or ethernet. You cant just use a plain USB or cat5 cable though. Crossover has a wire switched around in them
