This is quite common. Lots of people collect 'junk'. I've got a jar full of wine corks - I mean, what effin use are they? Unless it's a means of checking up on my own self indulgence and wine boozing over the last year. Better hide the jar, because according to UK.gov statstics, I should now be dead.
Why not throw all those bits of useless paper on the bonfire??

Lots of people collect things. In times past when there was not such abundance people collected string and ended up with a hugh ball, and other things, matchbooks, pencils etc. Now collecting is a little more complex.

If it's paper and evelopes and notes and things, I share your fascination. I find the best thing to do is to use it to write letters and notes to others - I share my stuff and get it out of my house!

I know you can't bear to throw them away in case you need them at a later date. When you do throw them away you find you need them within 48 hrs.
