Didn't get such a great response last time, but I still think this one gets a lot of interesting answers...

Let me start things off:

1.) I can listen to my favorite song ("Don't Give Up", by Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush) just fine when it's on my CD player; but whenever I hear it being played on the radio, it invariably makes me cry.

2.) I am a "closet" Rush Limbaugh fan.

3.) It wasn't until I was 11 years old and had breakfast at a friend's house that I found out that eggs could be prepared in a way other than "scrambled".

4.) My favorite superhero is the incredibly obscure "Captain Britain".

5.) When I remarried, I took on my wife's last name.

"What's the POINT?!?!" It's not SUPPOSED to have a point! It's the Internet!

But I suppose the point is to let people get to know you a little better, while still keeping them guessing -- that's why it helps to try to keep them at relatively equal levels of absurdity and believability...

1) I, too, can listen to "Don't Give Up" endlessly with either Kate as back-up, or Paula Cole (both versions hit that emotional button)

2) I was 25 and an aspiring writer when I found out that the Pulitzer Prize wasn't a mispronounced "Poulet Surprise" (a chicken recipe). Needless to say I gave up any aspirations pertaining to the field of literary arts.

3) My favorite "superhero" is ... UNDERDOG -- "There's no need to fear, Underdog is here!"

4) When I got divorced the first time, I took the birth name my mother had preferred for me but had been vetoed for whatever reason.

5) I am an international assassin posing as a cat of many trades. You'd be amazed at how simple it is to slip an innocuous toxin into anything ... one that renders the victim with a fatal cardiac arrest within 4 - 6 hours of introduction into the blood stream and leaves no detectable traces, unless an autopsy is performed within 12 hours after death. This natural substance breaks down in the blood-stream after it's done it's job and within 18 hours. It's been my experience that it's a fool-proof system, thus far.

1) I was emancipated as a teenager, and at the time, I wanted nothing whatsoever to do with my parents. In the past year, after seeing them for the first time in two years at my sister's engagement party, we've come to an agreement of peace. Though we're not one big happy family, we've accepted each other, so this is the first time in quite a while that I'll see my family at Christmas.

2) The most perverted person I've ever met happens to be one of my besties.

3) I never intend to have children.

4) I giggle during the Saw movies.

5) Unfortunately, I tend to find gay men hot, more often than I find straight men hot. Sadly; I don't think I'd make a very good boyfriend..
