You are supposed to EARN then, not ask people to give them to you! also people cheat and as for best answer!!!! grr sometimes it annoys me when they don't answer the question just ask for best answer!!!!

Heck yes it bothers me. They should spend less time begging and spend more time thinking of an appropriate answer to the questions. I won't give them best answer if they ask for it. Half of the fun in Yahoo Q&A is actually answering the question to the best of your ability!!
I almost always give stars when I answer a question because I feel that if it is interesting enough for me to answer than it deserves a star. Plus, they don't cost anything and can really make someone feel better!!

yes, it does bug me! most of the people who ask for stars dont even have a very good question, so its not like theyd actually get one regularly. its the same with answers..... = ]
