How do you become a surrogate mother? The reason I ask is because I would love to be pregnant again, but do not wish to have any other children. Does the biological parents insurance cover the pregnancy? does the surrogate make any profit from being the carrier??

The laws are different in different states. In some states it is against the law to pay a surrogate, in other states surrogancy is illegal altogether. Find an adoption lawyer in your town and he/she will be able to give you the low down.

The biological parents are responsible for your hospital bills due to your pregnancy and all complications it causes. They also pay you a predetermined amount of money.
There are many reputable companies on the net. Which ever company you chose check them out completely before you give them any info

As far as I know- a serrogate mother does not have to pay for anything. I think rewards for serrogates depend on the laws in the individual states. Many people do it just to be a blessing and a hero to families who can't conceive on their own.

I would contact a local fertility clinic in your area to find out the answers to your questions. They would be able to coordinate this for you. Good luck.
