I have a feeling the Marlins are going to want Cano and one of our kiddie pitchers for Cabrera. If Crede is available via a trade I would send Damon to the Sox for Crede and bolster our power by getting Andrew Jones. Move Melky to left and Hidecki DH's. Giambi becomes the highest paid pinch hitter in the game and gets an occasional start at 1st base.

I'd go with either Miguel Cabrera or Joe Crede. We need a good 4th hitter to replace A-Rod. So I think the Yankees should go with Miguel Cabrera. He will be pushed more by Joe Girardi to field the ball better, like he did when Girardi was with Florida.

I'de like to see A-rod back in Pinstripes, but don't think the Yankees will be willing to pay. I mean he's worth the money (in an OMG he's making how much, for doing what? type of way). You can't replace the HR's and RBI's and sorry if he didn't get along with everyone but he produces. And to blame him for their October collapses is ludacris. None of the Yankees have done well in the playoffs recently. A-rod kept them alive to even make it then the whole team sank like a stone. They need more pitching than anything. So as much as I like Arod at the hot-corner, I'de rather see that money put towards a better rotation.

I think you guys need Crede, there is no way you will get Lowell. Reason? Here it is: The Red Sox signed Curt Schilling, who performed average in the regular season. If they signed him right away for 10 mil, then we are willing to give out money. Lowell played great all year, and was MVP of the World Series. He says his heart is in Boston, and the Sox want him back. I give it two weeks at the most to sign him. Lowell is going to be welcomed back as a a hero.

it will be lowell, cabrera or a-rod...
lowell will be hard but not impossible to get - doubtful
cabrera will take a huge prospect like hughes - doubtful
a-rod - just will take money and the yanks have plenty of it...i bet they work something out
yanks dont want to lose prospects and have moey to waste
crede is a boras agent and is comming off back surgery and is a boras agent who will be a freea gent after next season, so he isnt comming to NY.
rolen can come over but he has been injury plagued for several seasons now so he is doubtful
i bet a-rod is back in pinstripes

everybody thinks Miguel Cabrera often is the Yanks 3b, however the Marlins will opt for Phil hughes in return and then some. If the yanks are clever the ydon't unload sturdy pitching. For a 3B who will in all probability could pass to the nook OF if he retains chubbing up. Tejada is exciting via fact Baltimore in all probability would take tremendously much something to go his settlement and he continues to be rather youthful.

I would love to have Arod back. People can say what they want about him but he is going to go down as one of the best players in baseball and it is these very fans that drove him out of NY!
