I really don't think I can answer this. I haven't had to me what is called a great loss. I have had many things leave me but none to the point where I know I will never be th same because of it. I do want to say however that to those who have I feel really sorry about your loss and I hope you continue to move past the pain of it. Im sure they wouldn't want you to be suffering.

My husband in 1993. We had been a couple for almost 17 years. I still miss him, know I can not ever replace him, but am open to dating and having a relationship after having a mourning period of 12 years.

my son passed away when he was 3 days old on the 12 of November
i had never experienced any loss till then

I lost a job after 18 years..was hard for about 6 months, in between jobs and starting over.

Probably when my father's guardian passed away in Feb. 2001. He is the only person I ever called Grandad....and I loved him a lot...had a lot of fun times with him over the years before he became frail.

Well I would say My 2 Best friends,My Dog and My Best Friend Tammy who will be gone 2 yrs in Jan she died of leukaemia at the age of 40.

My mother died when she was 55 - my father when he was 29.
I will have to say the death of my youngest brother a few years ago was the hardest though. I've had a lot of them unfortunately.
