BECAUSE THEY DON'T GET IT......WHOEVER VOTED FOR BUSH AND CHENEY ARE GLUTTON FOR PUNISHMENT!!!

We are in a serious Constitutional crisis. Democrats were elected to Congress to put the brakes on the Bush-Cheney juggernaut. They should be willing to take some political risks to honor, protect, and defend the Constitution. (It is, after all, their oath of office.) If we allow Bush and Cheney to succeed in permanently altering the balance of powers between the branches of government, the Constitution will become a dead letter, a yellowed reference document for school children to gaze at under glass at the National Archives.

Representative Dennis Kucinich has introduced House Resolution 333, which calls for a vote on articles of impeachment against Dick Cheney. It is a long overdue measure coming from a Democrat who has the guts to stand up for the United States Constitution. Other courageous members of Congress who signed on to HR 333 include Jan Schakowsky, Maxine Waters, Hank Johnson, Keith Ellison, Lynn Woolsey, Barbara Lee, Albert Wynn, William Lacy Clay, Yvette Clarke, Jim McDermott, Jim Moran, Bob Filner, Sam Farr, Robert Brady, Tammy Baldwin, Donald Payne, Steve Cohen, Sheila Jackson Lee, Carolyn Kilpatrick, Ed Towns, and Diane Watson. Please contact your representatives in Congress and demand that they support HR 333.

Kerry didn't seem like a better choice.

My dad voted for him twice and he is furious with Bush. He is supporting Ron Paul.

I'm supporting Dennis Kucinich.

I voted for the libertarian candidate because I could not bring myself to vote for either Bush or Kerry.

Honestly, I think it's due to the fact that John Kerry wasn't much of a democratic leader. As far as Dems go he really wasn't far enough "left" to gain overwhelming support. And at the same time most republicans stood by Bush and his handling of the terrorist "threat".

Kerry/Edwards was a disaster!

I voted for Pat Buchanan in 2000, (on purpose) and Kerry/Edwards didn't convince me things were as bad as they said. They seemed hysterical about everything.

It seemed to me Colin Powell and John Ashcroft had more wisdom and experiece than Kerry/Edwards.

i'm not one to judge.. i'm only 15.. but i say that its all due to media and money. only a small percent of the citizens of the U.S. read the newspaper and a large percent are informed of current events via the telelvision and media. so i guess that large percent of uninformed people voted for bush based on his t.v ads.

The Democrats effectively ceded the election by running Kerry - a virtually unelectable old-money git with the apearance and personality of the Frankenstien monster. The political strategy was to 'save' stronger candidates - like Hillary Clinton, aparently - for 2008, when they wouldn't be facing an incumbent.

Ignorance, pure ignorance.

These camels were basically manipulated by the right-wing disinformation machine into voting for a spectacular buffoon who covers himself in the flag against a brilliant patriot and war hero.

Pathetic slugs.

Because they did. America chose the President in that election without even a shadow of a doubt. The Anti - War crowd is loud, but compared to the silent majority, they are very small.
