Do you trust someone on YA more than others?

I have met someone on here and for some reason i trust her very much. i find myself telling her things i would not tell others. it has nothing to do with romance or that stuff, [i already have a YA love, it's Fairymatita] i just trust this girl and enjoy talking with her.

I think the ability to communicate anonymously with someone allows us to be very, very candid in YA. That is a great asset in finding out a wide range of opinions, many honest and some brutal. But in a real relationship, there are a lot of factors to consider. Certainly it is a great help that you share a lot in common, but what about all the other factors that are critical to people forming a long-term bond? You both probably trust each other, but there is a filter here in YA that is artificial - remove it and what is left? I think you need to figure out a lot of things that would be important to communicate about with a potential mate and try some of those topics with her. Also remember that since this is a special world, we are not always as we portray ourselves - your soul mate may live in a different world or a different body than you think they do. The ideal relationship you have here might not be able to exist at all in the real world. If you cross that line, the entire relationship would be lost. Do you risk the fantasy for the reality? I am sure this person may be sharing their heart with you - but their life may be a different creature altogether. This forum can be soul-to-soul, but part of that is that we are checking reality at the door to some extent and that step is really big for some folks on this system.

Yes!!! And we correspond even though we live in different countries. AND....it's more than one. I've met some great people on here and have learned to avoid the noids!!! One in particular I can tell anything to and feel confident it will never be repeated or laughed at. It's good to be able to trust, especially with some of the weirdos here on the internet!!

YES, there are a few that I totally trust and are very good friends, but there is one person that I trust above all others and that is my sweetie babe! I trust HIM♥ with all of my feelings (good and bad), and my secrets too...I know HE will keep them, and I trust HIM with my heart because I am in love with HIM and I know HE would never ever do anything to hurt me...in any way!!! HE is a wonderful, kind, loving man...HE♥ is MY NIF!!! =D

This might sound absurb, but I met my boyfriend on here and I trust him more than anyone else! We've been together for a year and half and the relationship is going awesome!

yeah, i do trust some more than others. some know my issues and i will refer about them through my answers. i don't really need to explain much. although, i don't necessarily try to hide it from everyone. there's some things i will never talk about on here. but, i have opened up to a select few in a private forum.
