wait ... so you are saying there is a channel called MSNBC?... and they have talk shows?.... and Keith Oberman (the dude from ESPN) is on it?

WOW NEVER HEARD OF IT!

Rosie annoys me as much as anyone else but she does bring ratings to a show for controversy.... personally I dont agree with much she stands for and I find her tactics uncalled for but there are those that enjoy her... just like there are people that snjoy Ann Coultier (who is equally disgusting).

I couldnt tell you where MSNBC is on my TV and would much rather her blathering there than on regular TV.

no news outlet is "Fair and Unbalanced" there is always a slant

They do an adequate job of simply reporting the news. What you are referring to is not the news, but political pundit shows, which are completely different. MSNBC is one of the few places where there is a good mix of liberal and conservative pundit shows. Tucker and Joe Scarborough are conservatives, Olbermann is a liberal, Matthews is a very conservative Democrat that gives both sides fits and who lets all sides speak their piece on his show. Dan Abrams is largely about legal issues, though he is defintely a conservative when it comes to politics. In fact, MSNBC has more conservative pundits than liberal, which may be why they are talking to Rosie, though I think they could do much better. I think she would be a detriment to their good reputation.

If it happens, BillO will probably have some sort of psychotic meltdown. He plays Rosie clips from years ago and still fulminates with rage.

He is more obsessed with what Rosie says than the actual news. Good thing he will have a chance to watch her when she comes on at 9PM. I predict her ratings will be through the roof. Should be a blast.

NO media outlet is an accurate source of news and it would be naive to think as much. Media has an obligation to their sponsors first and foremost. Recognizing that I use various new sources to obtain information.

There is a difference between News and Opinion.

I like Tucker Carlson and he's on MSNBC.

Not Rosie. But Keith is good. Can you provide a link to something that Olbermann said that was not accurate?

Rosie's an idiot.
Olberman keeps the repubs "honest" and calls it like it is. The neocons just can't stand that.

As for the "liberal" media, as long as Fox news, and the WSJ exist, we will need some balance from the left.

I'd HATE to see Rosie back on the air as much as I would hate to see Ann Coultergeist with her own show. If Rosie receives a "news" commentary show, MSNBC will lose some credibility with me.

Do not confuse Olberman's correct stance against Bush as equating to being a card carrying liberal as many neo-cons assume about anyone who rightfully despises Bush.

Once again, read the newspaper and get different points of view. Theres several different papers, for different political views. I was suggest not buying just one view though.
