It usually takes 4-6 weeks for your period to return after a loss at any stage of pregnancy. You can ovulate in this time, which means that you can get pregnant straight away if you have unprotected sex.

Most doctors will recommend that you wait at least one cycle, but this is purely to make it easier to date the pregnancy.

Getting pregnant straight away does not increase the chances of miscarriage. There is no evidence to support this and the chance of miscarriage is as high as 1 in 3 anyway.

If it was an early miscarriage with no and d and c then its fine to start from next period. Their are circumstances that can change this. So its probably best to see a doctor. You need to make sure you are ok before tryin again. They say you more firtile the first 3 months after miscarriage

3 years ago, my doctor advised me to have 3 normal periods before trying again he advised me my body needed to heal (they were the longest 3 months of my life) he also wanted to make sure there was no hgc in my blood. I do however see women saying they got pregnant the next month. good luck

There's no waiting period. My niece actually had a baby in August. She wanted to have her tubes tied then, but unfortunately it was a Catholic hospital, so they wouldn't do it. When she went to have it done a month later, she was already pregnant again!

The doctors tell you to at least wait 4 months so it gives the chance for your body to heal.
