I did some time and it wasn't that bad. Guaranteed 3 meals a day, tv in my cell, maid service (basically), movies, magazines, books, computer access, pay for doing community service, free clothing, free sex if you were in to that. All in all it was not that bad of an experience.

Being incarcerated in a jail or prison is not a nice thing at all. Being held some place against your will is the worst type of punishment a human being can go through. This is why the laws against kidnap are so serious. Anyone who has never experienced incarceration should consider themselves lucky to say the least. Anyone who has gone through this ordeal will understand fully what these words mean.

ive never been sentenced to serve time in a jail- however i've visted a few. My grandparents were incarcerated for 2 years in federal prisons, and my father was incarcerated in a county jail.
They suck. The federal prisons served food that would be considered illegal to even feed animals. Visitors were treated by the guards as criminals... just a horrible horrible time. Especially since in the case of my grandparents, they commited no crime and were railroaded by the governement and sent 12 hours away to serve 2 years and they were 72 years old!

No, i have never been incarcerated, but my mom, dad, brother, husband, and all his brothers have all been in jail or prison! So...needless to say I have been to jail a lot of times to visit those people. I'm a good girl, I don't ever plan on breaking the law!

I was thisclose to going to jail.

A police officer stopped me, and it just so happened that I want warrants for unpaid traffic tickets. He cuffed me and put me in the car, and while cuffed in the back seat he went on a few radio calls he had gotten, then he just said, "It's too busy tonite, I'll take you back home"

I got lucky because I never want to experience jail

Yep sure have a whole bunch of times! I was innocent every time. The police framed me. They had the wrong guy. Jail is a joke. The fines and lawyers fees are the real punishment (and crime!).

Yes for 6 days for possession of marijauna. In the beginning of all of my charges I was facing 32 years in prison. I had 3 c felonies and 2 misdemeanors. I can't remember what class possession is. I think they are B misdemeanors. But I paid an @$$ load of money for a good lawyer and got all but one of the charges dropped!

Edit: The 2 of the 3 C felonies were for Dealing Marijauna within 1000 feet of a public park. And one of them was for conspiracy to deal within 1000 ft. of a public park. The misdemeanors: one possession and one conspiracy of possession.

What the he11 is conspiracy of possession? You thought I had weed? Ha Ha!
