I would say the King because he plays under more pressure because he plays in the greatest city in the world and has a better team.

im goin with the king and i think he proved himself very well in last years playoffs considering it was only his second year in the league playin on a team that was good but not expected to go too far especially sweep the thrashers also he may not have won the cup yet! but he did lead his country to a gold medal which counts for something and over the past 2 years hes been the better goalie out of the two and it seems like again this year hes once again the better goalie by looking at his stats so anyone who says DP is better is crazy b/c its clear that henrik has established himself as the better goalie in NY and yes marty is good and a legend but he's gettin old its time for the new guys to move up and take his place. all hail the KING!

You can't be the king until you win a Stanley Cup. Neither man has proven anything where it matters, the Playoffs. There's only one goalie in the New York Tri-State Area, and he doesn't play in the State of New York. If I have to take one, I'll take DiPietro, whose "lesser team" actually intensifies his play, because he has to make more and better saves. "More spectacular" doesn't necessarily mean better -- only a fool would have taken Ozzie Smith over Alan Trammell, let alone over Cal Ripken -- but, in this case, the more spectacular goalie, DiPietro, is the better one.
