AH! This is a spin tool. The conservatives usually put moral issues into the focus when their policies are called into question. This takes the eye off the war (or other questionable action, like managing of Katrina disaster) and puts it onto an unimportant issue with moral/religious implications to get the monkies rattling their cages, fighting over something that does not matter. In the grand scheme of things, whethere or not two men get married has nothing to do with me, a hetero married 25 year old with children. Oh, and that sanctity of marriage crap, this nation was in trouble long before gay marriage. 55% divorce rate, reality shows where men chose between big titty bimbos to MARRY, who wants to marry a midget, parents who spend more time building their careers than raising their children (I've seen a nanny pushing a stroller down the street while "mom" pranced behind, yakking on her cell phone), the hyper sexualization and graphic violence of our tv shows... Yeah, blame the gays. All their fault for wanting to make a lifetime committment to eachother.

It means that there is a tiny shred of sanity left in this country. Not for long though.
A marriage, by definition, is between a man and woman. There is no way homosexuals can get married since they don't meet the criteria. Just like boys can't join the Girl Scouts because they don't meet the criteria.

Sadly, all sense and sanity is rapidly leaving our country. I'm sure it won't be long before gays are "married", even though it is not technically possible.

What does to me vis-a-vis W? Nothing.
merans the same as growing up poor in the south meant when I heard people say "at least we ain't *******".

It means I suffer from such low self-esteem that I gotta pick some other group to persecute in order to feel ok about me.

And this is pathetic. If W is fostering this attitude, then he is a bully.

no longer a extremely clever question and throughout the time of no potential useful to the gay community! the reason that that's some distance greater standard in gay adult men is that the sexual insertion into the rectum motives tiny tares and a consequently small quantities of blood. Blood is the service and might consequently transmit HIV and sexually transmitted disease much greater effectively!

It means with all the asinine changes put forth as progressive, at least the institution of marriage is safe for divorce lawyers to only pounce on hetero couples.
