I have a friend that always thinks she's pregnant and always buys pregnancy tests. She can be at the grocery store and just buys one for the heck of it.
she doesnt want to be pregnant but she gets dissapointed when it's negative....... it makes no sense.
does she need to see a therapist? does she really want to be pregnant? Is she just craving attention?

I kinda like that. When I'm not pregnant everytime I'm a day late I'll take a test and I know that I don't NEED a baby but I'm always kinda disappointed when its negative. I guess I just love the excitement of just finding out that your pregnant.

YES. My cousin is!!! She always buy pregnancy tests even though she knows there's no possibility of her even being pregnant. She was taking them while she was on the shot. She wants to be pregnant sooooo bad, but tries to acts as if she doesn't want kids & she doesn't want to be pregnant. It got really bad after I told her that I was pregnant. She was taking like 2 or 3 per week & had just got off the shot, so she wasn't even ovulating. She say she spent over $100 on pregnancy test one month. I think she just wants to be pregnant.

Yeah, i replaced into like that, too! It replaced into 5 days formerly my anticipated era and that little faint line replaced into so surprising. i could no longer have self belief it. I ran out appropriate away and have been given approximately 5 greater exams. this is in no way too quickly to tell you're pregnant! To all the individuals who're answering that she needs to attend and take a try later, that's no longer actual! a favorable is a favorable! Congratulations!

ha! I did that to a certain degree. I "didn't want a baby" but I really did. I wouldn't buy them for the heck of it, but if my period was late, I would buy one and kept taking them till my period came. When we finally decided to get pregnant, I probably took about 6 to make sure I was pregnant.
It's kind of like a scratch off lottery ticket... You never know what you are going to get... ok.. bad analogy

Depends on to what extreme she is testing, yes I would say she wants to get preggo.
She maybe looking for attention if she is making it overly apparent that she is buying and testing.
I am ttc and stock up on tests, I am not having much luck concieving but I go thru about 3 tests per month

I've been through fertility treatment. I can see how that could happen. You hope and pray so hard that it will happen. And then the test shows negative. You have little doubt that it's wrong and you must take another. She really might need to talk to someone.
