First, I have two words for you my friend: "spell check." Second, there are two games named Civilization. The first was published in the eighties by Hartland Trefoil and later by Avalon Hill. Two to six players engage in a contest for land and resources to advance on a scoring board called the Archaeological scoring track. Players start in the Stone Age and play until someone wins in the Bronze Age.The second game is properly called "Sid Meier's Civilization:The Board Game." It is for two to five players and it superficially resembles the older game but the time span of the game runs from the Stone Age to the Space Age.
